Dennis and Sue Anthony are currently serving World Renewal International as Homeland Missionaries in our Recovery Ministry. Previously, Dennis worked as a drug, alcohol and mental health clinician in a large agency. There, he specialized in adolescents (13-25 years old) and also coordinated their Intensive Outpatient Program. Prior to officially becoming a counselor, Dennis served as a Lieutenant/Paramedic with South Euclid Fire Department. He spent 23 years in the fire service before an unplanned medical condition forced his retirement.
Dennis and Sue’s motivation to serve the recovery community is fed in two ways. First, Dennis’ professional experience as a counselor and firefighter has highlighted the need for hope, healing and support. More importantly, their primary motivational source has come from within their own family. For more than eight years now, Dennis and Sue have walked the addiction’s mine field alongside their youngest son. By God’s grace, mercy, and love he has embraced recovery. Dennis and Sue are passionate about reaching people struggling with addictions. They along with World Renewal International, are offering hope, healing, and support through recovery ministry.
